The Ask
Launch the new 5G iPhone with impact. Lean into a “stunty” activation that would show, rather than tell, how 5G would transform the way we connect forever.
The Approach
Timed for the busy holiday shopping season, we launched the world’s first webAR pop-up Verizon mobile store. Consumers could step into the AR portal, explore products, enjoy exclusive promotions, record messages with AR filters, and send AR .gifs to loved ones. We created two parallel experiences: a 4G market and a 5G market. The 5G market featured additional bells and whistles, giving 4G users FOMO and a clear reason to upgrade.
